Watson’s Bay Harbour House by SJB Architects
Harbour house is not a new thing in Australia, especially in Sidney. Have a harbour house makes the ship owner can reach the house easily after enjoy a day in the sea. One of special harbour house in Sydney is created by SJB Architects. The house is simply stunning with scenery of the harbour as the backyard. Basically the house looks like a big combination of several different sizes boxes.
From the harbour side, the house looks modern and has clean edge. There is a quite long bridge from the water line to the back of the house. Home owner need to climb several stairs to reach the door. From the inside, the house looks contemporary and warm. There are double ottoman chairs with rainbow colors and colorful pillows on the sofa. The owner selected white for the wall, floor and ceiling to give large feeling.
The good thing is it’s free to see the sea and ships every time you want because the house have floor-to-ceiling glass wall. In the back yard, there is a small size limitless swimming pool that ready to fresh body and mind. It is nice because they can swim while enjoy harbour view day and night. From the front door, this house looks like an ordinary house with simple and plain white fence.
