The Warm Forester’s House of Ayumi Horie

Living in a modest forester’s house might be the dream of some people to release the hectic city life. Well, Ayumi Horie makes her dream comes true. She didn’t buy a regular house, but a village church, so when the first time we see the house, we might think that it is a church. The location of the village church is in Hudson Valley. She renovated the church to be a cozy place to live in and now the house is on sale.
Ayumi designed the church or house in a specific way, so it could be a very comfortable home without leaving the original church artistic value. She managed to keep the artistic atmosphere and architecture. Inside, we will find a very warm atmosphere with wood domination. It has wooden floors, furniture and window frame. The interior design and furniture choice are very simple, leaving the rooms so spacious, comfortable and light.
Most of the furniture choices are traditional furniture, so as the decorations. The concept blends with the original decoration of the church like its colored window glasses. The fireplace is using traditional fireplace and we can even find a place for the wood stack near the fireplace. If we are artistic people who are looking for a warm and cozy place to stay with our family, then this house is so perfect.
