The Natural Industrial Kitchen Concept by Scavolini
Leaving the common concept of the conventional kitchen design, a kitchen designed by Scavolini at an event, EuroCucina is offering us a different form of comfort in a kitchen. The Diesel Social Kitchen is leaving the kitchen concept that is usually bright and feminine. On the other side, the kitchen is designed in darker tone with industrial touch, but in comfortable atmosphere for social need. The designer made the kitchen as social space.
One of the aspects that make this kitchen design so unique is the vintage effects. The kitchen is filled with appliances that can create industrial effects like cements, steel and metal. The designer chooses metallic mesh cover to give a retro touch, and to balance the effect to create comfort by adding oak doors with its natural touch. For the color, the kitchen is dominated by the color of natural wood and classic green. Yellowish touch is also given on the kitchen cabinet and tables.
The designer said that the collaboration of atmosphere and colors are aimed to give the Italian kitchen a different touch. If we drag a fine line, we can see that the upper part of the kitchen is filled with the industrial touch, while the lower part is more natural and conventional. The combination is somehow blends perfectly.
