Simple and modern house usually will not put natural into the design. But we can see the beautiful inspiring house design by Studio MK27 which created combination of modern architecture with natural elements wonderfully. The result is The Toblerone Residence in Sao Paulo Brazil. Actually The Toblerone House has been short-listed in “Villa” category.

The name Toblerone is chosen because of the shape of the house. This innovative design concept creates a simple structure with two distinct spaces. As you can see the bottom floor is created for entertaining inhabitants. The social spaces have glass cover from floor to ceiling to optimize garden view. Living room, reading room, and dining room are available in the same area with no partitions. There are two large book shelves and large flat screen TV.

Entertainment area is completed with large floor from natural elements. The upper floor is wrapped in retractable screens of wooden slats. It is a bit private and the wood panels could encourage lots of air to flow through the sleeping spaces at night. It can filter light through during the day as well. The wooden slats circle the entire property in the top floor. This house has only one simple connection stair behind the ground floor.
