Restaurant with Both Mixed Old and Modern Italian Style
Il Sogno Restaurant in San Antonio, Texas can be distinguished from other restaurants since this restaurant has unique architecture design. Basically Il Sogno Restaurant is made to be very simple architecture with a strong Italian atmosphere. Although this restaurant is simply made to be square however it’s not difficult to identify this building as a restaurant instead of a warehouse since we can directly see the kitchen from the main entry.
This restaurant has two floors which at the first floor we can find the waiting room, the main dining space and a bar. The main dining area on the first floor has no ceilings so it’s in an open space where guests can get the romantic atmosphere. The pipe trusses are already rusted but they’re intentionally installed with vaulted ceiling so this way it creates a fine combination of old fashion Italian look with modernity.
The hanging lamps are installed directly to the trusses on the ceiling. The windows are also quite large so the interior surely can get fresh lights from the sun. The dining table and chairs are made with minimalist and classic look which is strongly related to the Italian style in the old days.
