Modern Minimalist House with Indoor Patio in Japan by Edward Suzuki Associates

This house in located in Japan and was designed by Japanese architectural firm Edward Suzuki Associates. The house is designed with modern minimalist style when viewed from the exterior. And when we get into the house, the typical Japanese feel will warmly welcomed us, personally, I really love the interior. I think the Japanese-style furniture that is laid out cleverly is become the main key to turn on the interior, so beautiful.
Moreover, the most interesting thing from this house is, the architects put the patio into the center of the house thanks to the “Go in to go out,” concept. To understand that concept, the following is a statement from the architects about “Go in to go out,” concept.
“… the design concept is “Go in to go out,” meaning that the house has an outside patio at the center of the house onto which each and every room looks out. Furthermore, a balcony is placed above and adjacent to the central patio overlooking it such that this combination of open spaces creates an “interface” between the outside proper and the inside that acts a filter, a buffer, or a cushion between the two zones.”
