Make Small Apartment so Attractive and more Spacious, Brooklyn Loft by Katz Chiao

Having a small apartment in New York is a common thing and we have to be very creative if we want to make our small apartment look attractive and comfortable. It is not impossible for us to make an outstanding interior creation. One of the examples on how to use a small space so attractive is seen on Katz Chiao project in a loft in Brooklyn. Not an apartment, they create a small creative space in a cabin. The concept is natural concept. It takes a tree house concept, so we will find wooden walls and a lot of sunlight.

The creative thing about this small cabin designing is the concept of home inside a home. We will find bedrooms, private area, kitchens, living room area and even a garden inside. We can use this idea for our small apartment as well. Since the cabin is having a small space, then we can use the shared open space idea. We can combine public area like kitchen living room and even working area. In the cabin, shared open space is combining all those rooms. These areas are only separated with partition or some visual separator that makes as if the room is separated. Since is it not totally separated, then we can still get a wide room accent.

Using a single theme in a room is able to make the room looks bigger. We can find such application in the cabin, which we can apply in our small apartment. In the cabin, wooden theme is used. Since the cabin is having several floors, then we can use simple stairs to connect each level. With the stairs that look so light visually, then it will make the room feels more spacious. In the cabin, there is no specific room for the bedroom and to give privacy, a unique partition is given. With this way, no additional rooms and space is needed.
