Hongkong : Uniting 2 Apartment and Each Room Interior for Comfortable Space
Uniting two apartments into one is not a simple task to do. One of best examples of unification of two apartments is Matsuki residence. Located in the Discovery Bay area of Hong Kong, HEAD architecture and Design have been built an open space within these to united apartment. The apartment still looks stylish and sophisticated. It is clear that the designers have considered various things before uniting these two apartments. Without proper consideration, they will not be able to create this comfortable space.
As a family resident, this apartment equipped with many rooms that will fulfill all family members’ needs. To give large impression, the designers use less wall partition in this house. This rule is happens in almost all parts of house, except private space such as toilet and bedrooms. As for living room, kitchen and dining room is created in open spaces. By positioning these two rooms in open spaces, you will get bigger opportunity to watch over your children while you are doing your personal activities.
There is no wallpaper that is applied in the wall. The wall is painted by white colored paint. The designers choose to position bright colors furniture in strategic places inside the house. This way is useful to create cheerful and happiness inside the house. As for the floor itself, the designers choose to use wood as the main substance. To give a decorative element, the interior designers place fluffy rugs in particular place. It is done to make gathering time with family members becomes more comfortable and intimate.
Lighting are also one of important part in house. In order to obtain comfort and pleasure, a house should get sufficient lighting. This apartment has two kinds of lighting, natural lighting and artificial lighting. Natural lighting can be obtained by placing windows on the strategic place to get moderate amount of sunlight. While artificial lighting are lighting from any kinds of lamp. This apartment can be considered as an apartment that offers eco-friendly system in terms of lighting management. Through many windows, sunlight is more than enough to give light inside the house. When the night comes, you can start to change your natural lighting into artificial lighting. Even though it applies simple minimalist style, the designers still try to give ethnic look by hanging red lampion in the living room.
