Dune House by William Morgans Architect : Now on Sale
There are only few super unique houses in the worlds that will impress people so much and William Morgan’s Dune House is one of them. What makes people can not stop adore this house is not the price or the luxurious home interior. It’s the idea that makes people interested to know more about this breathtaking house’s architecture.
The beachside house is created by architect William Morgan. He design and built an earth-hugging home into the sand dunes of Atlantic beach, Florida. Many people said that the house looks more like the Hobbit dwelling place. The important thing that people should notice is this house is built in 1975 and still impresses people in 2012. The Morgan’s Dune House located in two separate 750 square feet area. This house only has one bedroom and one bath.
Basically, the building was constructed using the technology of swimming pool. It is using a gunite concrete shell anchored to a cast concrete floor. The whole house is covered with the hill which looks like a mantle of earth. It is stabilized by native landscaping which can maintain 70 degree wooden home interior temperature. The Dune House now is on sale for $1.4 million.
