Designer Vasiliy Butenko has sent us images of HIPPO Chair.

The chair’s soft and volumetric shape and size combine beautifully to create clear lines that enhance the attention to design. The volume just below the seat lines suggests an added padding and tremendous comfort. It is easy to see that the shape is reminiscent of kid’s cartoons. The world famous “Kinder Surprise”, collection of toys was the true inspiration behind the “HIPPO” name given to the chair.

Portique Armchair is a fun swinging chair designed by Florent Coirier. The design remind us to our childhood memories when we played a swing on the backyard. Material used is a metal tubular frame as a supports to a couple of polyester ropes attached to a classic wooden swing seat. Different from the rocking chair, Portique Armchair can only be played with a gentle motion, forward or backward. But at least, it would be very interesting to accompany us to spend the twilight on the backyard.

This rocking chair is consist of five pieces parts that we can raft itself easily without tools. As shown at the picture above, this rocking chair is dominated by black color and combined with red color on the cushion. In terms of color, we feel that combination is very precise, while for the shape, the traditional concept is very pronounced. Overall the chair that was designed by Fredrik Färg and named Rock Chair is a traditional rocking chair that comes back with a new face, promising comfort and have beautiful color combination.

This chair was inspired by a book with sheets of each page. The shape is very simple yet inspiring, the chair consists of white slender legs, backrest and chair cushions which is assumed as a book with colorful pages. As shown in the picture above, the ‘pages’ are distinguished by different colors, this is the uniqueness of this chair. ‘Pages’ can serve as a means to adjust the seat height and backrest pad by simply changing each “pages”. This chair is called Pages Chair and was designed by 6474 Design Studio.
